About the Farm

Angers Conway Farm has deep roots stretching back to 1920, when George C. Angers and his wife, Octavia (Rivard) Angers, purchased the land in Lakeville, Massachusetts. What began as a dairy farm where cows and horses roamed the fields has evolved through five generations of family stewardship. In the 1980s, the property expanded to include cranberry bogs and small ponds, diversifying the agricultural landscape that George and Octavia first envisioned.

The farm's story is one of continuous family dedication, with each generation building upon the legacy of their predecessors. Lillian (Angers) Conway once processed and shipped milk from her dairy cows in what the family affectionately called "The Milk Room" off their barn. After Lillian's passing and the decline of dairy production, the farm transformed its focus while maintaining its agricultural heritage. Today, the property is maintained by the grandchildren and great-grandchildren of George and Octavia Angers, ensuring the continuity of this century-old farming tradition.

Now operating as both a working farm and community gathering place, Angers Conway Farm produces native hay and offers various products through their farm store, which opened in the renovated Milk Room after over a year of dedicated restoration work. The farm is home to cranberry bogs, livestock including horses, cattle, chickens, and even a mini donkey, all roaming across acres of grassy pastures beside serene ponds. Beginning in 2023, the farm expanded its community role by hosting annual events, providing families with opportunities to experience farming life while celebrating the agricultural heritage that has defined this Lakeville property for over a century.
