In 1995, Andy Reseska's journey into beekeeping began with the purchase of his very first beehive, marking the start of what would become a passionate family enterprise. What initially sparked as a deep fascination with honeybees quickly evolved from hobby to rewarding side job as the family acquired more hives. Four years later, this growing passion crystallized into the founding of Boston Honey Company, establishing the Reseska family as dedicated stewards of these remarkable creatures.
Over the years, Boston Honey Company expanded its operations throughout Massachusetts, establishing apiaries across diverse locations from the historic farms of Concord and battlefields of Lincoln to community centers, public park lands, and private sites in Holliston and beyond. The company's growth eventually led them to venture southward to Georgia, where their bees recover from northeastern honey season losses while gathering unique varieties like Gallberry, Southern Wildflower, and Tupelo honey.
