Calf & Clover Creamery is a labor of love rooted in regeneration, reverence for animal life, and an unwavering devotion to nourishing the local community. Located in the rolling hills of Cornwall Bridge, this dairy farm is the embodiment of a deep farming philosophy—one that prioritizes pasture, soil health, and the sacred relationship between mother and calf. At its core is a small family: Jeff, Sarah, and Hunter, whose years of experience in organic and pasture-based agriculture across New England culminated in the stewardship of this treasured land, once known as Stone Wall Dairy.
The creamery’s name, “Calf & Clover,” poetically captures the farm’s two central values: the legacy and future carried by each newborn calf, and the life-giving clover that fills their hillside pastures. Their cows graze rotationally on fresh fields twice daily during the growing season, and live with freedom and dignity, cared for under the “Madre method”—a practice that allows calves to be raised by their mothers or nurse cows. This approach produces not only healthier animals but also some of the most nutrient-dense and flavorful milk in the region, rich in omega-3s and CLA.
With an inviting year-round, self-serve farm store, Calf & Clover offers raw milk, yogurt, ricotta, dairy beef, eggs, and a curated selection of local goods. Visitors can enjoy not only the bounty of the land but also stay in the farmhouse Airbnb or even host weddings in the breathtaking North pasture. Whether sipping a glass of their creamy milk or meeting Molly and Matilda—their beloved cow-calf duo—every moment at Calf & Clover reconnects us to the essence of real food, community, and a gentler way of living.
