Nestled in the beautiful hills of Deerfield, Massachusetts, Clarkdale Fruit Farms stands as a testament to four generations of agricultural dedication. The Clark family has cultivated this land since 1915, when the first generation planted heirloom apple varieties that still bear fruit today. This continuity of stewardship represents more than a century of farming wisdom passed down through the generations.

The farm embraces both tradition and innovation, maintaining the heritage trees planted by their ancestors while continuously adding new varieties to their collection. Over 100 varieties of apples, peaches, plums, pears, cherries and grapes flourish across their orchards, with harvests spanning from July through October. The Clarks practice Integrated Pest Management and maintain a strong commitment to sustainable agriculture, ensuring their farming methods honor both the land and the community they serve.

As a primarily retail operation that also serves local businesses, Clarkdale offers visitors the simple pleasure of farm-fresh fruit picked straight from tree to table. Their seasonal apple cider pressing from October to January adds another dimension to their offerings, while their welcoming farm store provides a gathering place where the community can experience authentic agricultural traditions.
