DaSilva Farm is a small family farm in Rehoboth, Massachusetts, run by husband and wife team Josh and Felicia DaSilva along with their two daughters, Sienna and Brielle. Their mission is to produce food that families can feel good eating, striving to raise the highest quality meat and eggs with clean and sustainable practices. The farm was launched in 2015 when Josh, who had grown up around his farming grandfathers and worked on various farms part-time while pursuing carpentry, decided to follow his passion for working with animals.
Josh manages the daily operations of the farm, caring for animals, building structures, collecting eggs, and working farmers markets. His love and passion for farming shine through in everything he does. Felicia brings her marketing and graphic design background from Roger Williams University to handle the business side, including bookkeeping, website design, and marketing. After six years as a Marketing Manager in the corporate world managing major office product brands, she departed to help launch their family business.
The farm practices sustainable agriculture through rotational grazing, moving livestock from paddock to paddock so they have continuous access to fresh pasture. Their animals are given certified organic feed and raised without antibiotics or growth hormones. During cold New England winters, the animals are raised indoors. The family takes pride in providing the same quality products to their community that they feed their own family, with their daughters actively helping with farm tasks and greeting customers at their farm stand.
