About the Farm

Earthlands Farm & Education Center is a family owned, 80 acre property nestled in the picturesque forests of the Quabbin Reservoir about an hour west of the Boston area. While Earthland's 501c3 environmental education nonprofit has existed for almost 50 years, the farm is only in its second year of full scale farming operations. The family behind Earthlands brings an intimate, caring approach to their beekeeping, lovingly tending to their 7 beehives and sometimes even singing to their bees.

The farm operates on a foundation of regenerative agricultural practices, building soil health and productivity free of chemical herbicides, pesticides, and synthetic fertilizers. Their commitment to pure, organic methods extends to their honey production, where their bees collect pollen from surrounding pristine forests, flowering organic vegetables and fruits on the farm, and fields of wildflowers. The strategic location ensures that all abutting neighbors are organic farmers as well, creating a completely chemical-free ecosystem spanning 100 acres.

Earthlands Farm's mission extends far beyond food production, embodying a philosophy that physical, spiritual and mental health starts with connecting with the Earth, then with ourselves, and then with each other. As they expand their infrastructure, they offer transformational education through classes, workshops, retreats and events for adults and children. Through their education and farming efforts, they are dedicated to awakening the highest potential in the human spirit, whole body wellness and planetary wellbeing, while also partnering with nonprofits, crisis centers and soup kitchens to donate excess food and support families experiencing food insecurity.
