Graham Farms Maple is a third generation family-owned maple farm that has been sweetening Vermont since 1990. The story begins with William R. Graham (Bill), who discovered his passion for sugaring as a young boy helping a neighbor. His love for the craft grew each year until he and his wife Gloria decided to start their own maple sugaring business in Williamstown, Vermont, focusing on producing pure Vermont maple syrup, maple cream, and maple candy.
After Bill passed from cancer in 2004, his son Rodney Graham and grandsons William P. Graham and Matthew Couillard continued his legacy. In 2009, William P. Graham and his wife Michelle became owners of Graham Farms Maple and expanded the retail business to include award-winning specialty products like maple nuts, pretzels, and maple cream filled doughnuts. Today, the farm operates over 10,000 taps and has earned numerous accolades, including sweeping the 2010 Vermont Maplerama with first place wins in Amber Rich, Dark Robust, and Strong Taste, plus Best of Show.
The Graham family's commitment extends beyond traditional maple production to serving high quality products and providing healthy, all natural sweeteners. In 2021, they became Vegan certified, with their pure Vermont maple syrup, maple sugar, maple candy and maple cream all earning vegan certification. Their dedication to excellence is evident in their numerous awards from the Vermont Maple Festival, county fairs, and the Tunbridge World's Fair, proving that producing pure Vermont maple syrup is more than a business for them - it is their joy and a big part of who they are.
