Tyler and Nikki Royce began their journey at Grow A Pear Farm when they purchased six acres of land in Charlestown, New Hampshire in 2010. After building their home in late 2011, the couple wasted no time in transforming their beautiful property into a thriving agricultural operation. As soon as spring arrived in 2012, they began planning how to best utilize their land, planting a variety of fruit trees in 2013 and establishing their apiary in 2015.
The farm has evolved into an organic orchard and apiary that maintains the highest standards of sustainable agriculture. Their current operation includes over 30 varieties of heirloom apples, pears, and peaches, all cultivated without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers to ensure a healthy ecosystem. The orchard is complemented by a thriving bee population that produces pure, high-quality honey through responsible harvesting practices that prioritize bee health and hive sustainability.
At the heart of Grow A Pear Farm lies a deep commitment to holistic and organic practices that benefit the earth, community, and human health. Their mission centers on providing the local community with opportunities to learn about nature while offering raw honey and unique organic fruit that excite the taste buds and open minds to the natural world. The Royces value transparency in their orchard and apiary practices, fostering a space where the community can gather, learn about sustainable farming methods, and witness firsthand how they work in partnership with nature and wildlife.
