Harding Hill Farm stands as a testament to three generations of dedicated land stewardship, having cared for their farmland and managed forest lands in a sustainable manner for over 75 years since 1948. What began as a bed and breakfast near ski trails has evolved under the Webb Family's guidance into a diversified operation that has housed many ventures including managed forestland, a sheep farm, and homestead, growing into the multifaceted farm it is today.
At the heart of the operation are Tyler and Kelly Webb, whose complementary backgrounds bring both deep local roots and extensive agricultural expertise to the farm. Tyler, born and raised on Harding Hill Farm, discovered his passion for maple syrup and trees early, eventually earning his degree in Forestry and Arboriculture from Paul Smith's College before returning home as a NH Certified Arborist to manage the tree care crew and lead memorable sugarhouse tours during maple season. Kelly brings eleven generations of dairy farming heritage from her Connecticut family, along with degrees in Dairy Science and Agricultural Business from Virginia Tech and Animal Nutrition from the University of New Hampshire, now dedicating herself full-time to maple sales, cattle management, and farm finances.
The farm's mission centers on sustainable practices that produce quality farm and forest products for the local community while offering the same level of care through their professional tree services. Their maple sugaring operation has grown to encompass over 5,000 taps across three locations in the Lake Sunapee Region, complemented by a small herd of Belted Galloway beef cattle, sustainable firewood production, and hay harvesting. Through partnerships with conservation organizations including Ausbon Sargent Land Preservation Trust and the Society for the Protection of NH Forests, Harding Hill Farm proudly opens their family land and trails for public access and recreational use, demonstrating their commitment to responsible forestry practices and community engagement.
