About the Farm

Langwater Farm is a thriving family farm sprawling across 80 acres in the heart of Easton, Massachusetts, where the passionate pursuit of certified organic agriculture has taken root since 2010. Founded by Kevin O'Dwyer, who honed his skills as head grower at Wards Berry Farm after starting as field crew at age 14, this venture represents the culmination of years spent learning the intricate art of sustainable farming. Kevin's expertise in tomato cultivation and infrastructure development laid the foundation for what would become a cornerstone of the local food community.

The farm truly blossomed into a family enterprise when Kate O'Dwyer left her career in social work in 2012 to join Kevin full-time in their agricultural mission. Together with their three daughters Madison, Rachel, and Charlotte, who serve as the youngest members of the Langwater crew, the O'Dwyer family has created a multi-generational operation that embodies the spirit of community-supported agriculture. Their dedication extends beyond their immediate family to encompass a hardworking farm crew that enables year-round production of fresh organic produce.

At its core, Langwater Farm represents a commitment to nurturing both land and community through the cultivation of high-quality vegetables, herbs, fruits, and flowers. The farm's mission centers on growing nutritious and delicious produce while maintaining responsible stewardship of their land and fostering deep connections with thousands of households across Boston, Providence, and surrounding communities. Through their North Easton farm store, seasonal dining options, CSA programs, and participation in farmers' markets, they have created a comprehensive food system that celebrates the bounty of each season while supporting local artisans and producers.
