LePage Farm is a historic 7th-generation family farm in Barre, Vermont, recently transitioned to its next generation of stewards. Formerly operated for over 40 years by Alan LePage—a founding member of the Barre Farmers Market and Montpelier's Hunger Mountain Co-op—the farm is now managed by his daughter Lila Humphries-LePage and her partner Cameron Cahill. Alan was known for evolving the family's farming methods toward biodynamic and organic practices, cultivating over 100 varieties of fruits, vegetables, herbs, and tubers on the rocky glacial-till hills above Barre. The farm operates without chemical certification but follows organic principles. LePage Farm runs a farmstand stocked with their own fresh produce as well as local products from neighboring Vermont producers including cheese, milk, yogurt, maple syrup, honey, and garlic powder.
