Since 1999, Maple Wind Farm has been serving their Vermont community with nutrient-dense food through regenerative farming practices. Located in Richmond, this family-owned operation has built its foundation on the unwavering support of their community, which has inspired them to respond to challenges with dedication, optimism and grace. As their community continues to grow, the farm remains committed to getting to know their customers personally and offering the healthy food families deserve.

At the heart of Maple Wind Farm's philosophy is creating a calm and supportive environment where animals can thrive and express their true nature. They provide their livestock with plenty of space to forage, access to fresh air, green grass, and warm sunshine. This careful attention to animal welfare translates directly into flavorful, nutrient-dense meats that customers can both taste and feel the difference in.

The farm's commitment to innovation led them to build their own USDA meat processing facility, featuring an innovative air-chilling system that is the only one in the state. This air-chilling process, applied to their poultry instead of ice water chilling, results in a safer, tastier and more tender product. The facility also allows them to cut and package their own pork and produce a selection of house-made specialty pork products, while enabling other local farmers to access high-standard processing services.
