Founded in 1990, Meadowbrook Farm is a 275-acre operation in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, run by farmer John Burney. What began as a working plot of land has grown over three decades into a beloved seasonal destination for the community, offering everything from bedding plants and nursery stock in the spring to fresh-picked vegetables and sweet corn at the height of summer.

The farm opens each year in early spring with a wide variety of bedding plants, perennials, vegetable starters, herbs, and an impressive selection of hanging baskets. Come June, the fields yield pick-your-own and pre-picked strawberries, followed by a summer bounty of fresh vegetables and what loyal customers have come to regard as some of the finest sweet corn in the region. As the season turns, Meadowbrook shifts to mums, pumpkins, and fall decorations before closing out the year with Christmas trees, wreaths, and kissing balls, with a specialty in Fraser Firs.

At its heart, Meadowbrook Farm is a testament to the value of buying direct from the land. The farm's motto, "Support Local Agriculture... buy direct from the farm," is not just a slogan but a way of life that has sustained this corner of East Longmeadow for over thirty years.
