About the Farm

Millstone Farm is a 71-acre regenerative farm in Wilton, Connecticut, devoted to fostering a vibrant local food system and restoring the health of the land through responsible, forward-thinking agriculture. The farm’s roots run deep into Wilton’s history, with the land first purchased by Dr. Vincent Tito in 1911. Since then, Millstone has transformed from a traditional farm into a beacon of innovation and sustainability, evolving with each generation while preserving its pastoral charm.

Under current stewardship since 2016, Millstone Farm has embraced a holistic approach to land management and food production. Their rotational grazing system integrates sheep, goats, chickens, llamas, and turkeys—each species contributing uniquely to the land's renewal. Their no-till vegetable beds, winter grazing rotations, and use of cover crops further enrich the soil while reducing erosion, pest pressure, and off-farm inputs. With year-round growing through greenhouses and hoop houses, Millstone offers a rich harvest that stretches from early spring into the depths of winter.

Millstone’s CSA program offers a flexible, credit-based model allowing members to shop at their own pace—be it for vibrant greens, heritage pork, wild-caught Alaskan salmon, or cozy wool goods. More than a farm, Millstone is a deeply rooted community hub where conservation meets culinary celebration. From their equestrian facilities and farmer’s markets to their mission of honoring heritage breeds and stewarding the land, Millstone Farm embodies the essence of “real food, raised right”—a testament to enduring values in a changing world.
