About the Farm

Pause & Pivot Farm is a multi-dimensional farm, food, and creative business founded in Williamsburg, Massachusetts, housed within a historic 1774 farmhouse and 1830s barn. After a combined 35 years working in the business world, the founders chose to build something slower, more human, and more connected to their community. Their journey represents a deliberate shift toward creating a thriving local economy that depends on people who live where they work, invest locally, and adapt with intention to the challenges and opportunities of our time.

Built around the concept of connection between people, food, and the things we create and share, this modern diversified farm operates as much more than a traditional agricultural venture. The farm grows fresh greens and herbs year-round in their hydroponic container farm, bakes creative treats in their Farm Kitchen, and creates handmade pieces from salvaged and native wood in their WoodWorks division. Their work spans multiple growing spaces in Williamsburg, with plans for expansion through the Farm Kitchen Workshop in Easthampton, scheduled to open in spring 2026.

As proud members of CISA (Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture), Pause & Pivot Farm actively contributes to the Williamsburg community and the wider Hilltowns and Pioneer Valley food ecosystem. They offer goods and experiences through their online farm store, self-serve barn shop, and presence at markets and festivals throughout the region. The farm welcomes visitors for pickups, by appointment, and for special events, where guests can meet the family and team, say hello to their miniature goats and flock of hens, and experience the many ways this farm continues to grow and evolve.
