Since 1870, Robie Farm has been a testament to enduring agricultural tradition along the Connecticut River in Piermont, New Hampshire. This 150-acre family operation has flourished under seven generations of dedicated stewardship, each committed to maintaining healthy, productive livestock and responsible care of the land. The farm's legacy is built on an unwavering dedication to producing high-quality, nutritious, and flavorful meats that reflect their commitment to sustainability, animal welfare, and honest farming practices.
A pivotal transformation came in 2008 when current owner Lee Robie, alongside his sons, made the bold decision to transition from selling milk to large cooperatives to offering bottled raw milk directly to customers in their on-farm store. This strategic shift opened doors to a new era of diversification, leading to the development of their own farmstead cheese line using that same raw milk. The expansion continued with a wide variety of meats including beef, pork, and poultry, all available both in their farm store and through their online shop.
At the heart of Robie Farm's philosophy lies their HGAL standard: Humanely Raised, Growth Hormone-Free, All Natural, and Locally Grown. Their animals are never given synthetic steroids, growth hormones, or antibiotics, and their products contain no artificial additives, flavorings, or colors. Everything is minimally processed to preserve natural integrity and taste. Beyond their own livestock, they partner with a trusted cooperative of like-minded local farmers who follow the same HGAL practices, allowing them to offer specialty meats such as rabbit, lamb, duck, and veal while maintaining their exacting quality standards.
