In 1973, Nancy and Helm Nottermann began their agricultural journey by operating a successful dairy farm in East Hardwick, Vermont. They transitioned to Holstein breeding in the 1980s before finding their true calling in raising natural grass-fed, grass-finished beef, a practice they have continued since 1989. Their decades of experience in dairy farming provided the foundation for their expertise in raising premium livestock with an unwavering commitment to humane and natural care.

Today, the farm represents a beautiful generational transition as their son and daughter-in-law, Ben and Kelly Nottermann, lead the operation into the future alongside their son Fritz. This family-run farm has expanded beyond beef to include non-GMO pork, grass-fed lamb, and Coopworth raw wool fiber, while maintaining their dedication to raising animals without hormones, stimulants, or animal by-products.
