Under the Sun Farm found its forever home in January 2022 when owners Milton and Caitlin Teixeira purchased a property at 325 Williams Street in North Dighton, Massachusetts, just up the street from their original location. Until December 2021, the couple had operated their farm at the former Reed Brothers Produce and Garden Center site, a beloved fixture in the Dighton/Rehoboth area for decades.
Together, Milton and Caitlin bring decades of education, farming experience, and unbridled ambition to their mission of providing the local community with delicious, fresh produce and farm products. As locals themselves, they understand the deep connection between community and agriculture, working tirelessly to build a caring and educated community around food and farming practices.
The farm has evolved into a comprehensive local resource, taking pride in partnering with many small businesses throughout the region to offer not just their own fresh produce, flowers, and vegetable starts, but also locally sourced grocery items, dairy products, and other farm goods. Through their CSA program and farmstand operations, they maintain their commitment to supporting the community while fostering relationships between people and the farmers who grow their food.
