Upswing Farm is a small, diversified vegetable farm that began its journey leasing land across multiple Massachusetts towns from 2016 to 2020. After farming on leased parcels in Ashland, Holliston, and Franklin, the farm successfully secured a permanent location in Pepperell, Massachusetts in January 2021 through a two-year acquisition process. Despite relocating, the farm remains dedicated to the customers who helped build their business over five years, continuing to distribute CSA shares to regular pickup locations in Holliston and Hopkinton while also participating in the Ashland Farmer's Market.

The farm's mission centers on creating meaningful connections between their community and the realities of farming through their CSA programs. They are passionate about growing food, cooking with their harvest, and sharing that enthusiasm with shareholders who gain deeper understanding of seasonal production while receiving the highest quality produce and flowers. The CSA Share program forms the backbone of their business, serving dedicated customers who want to participate in a local and sustainable food system.

Upswing Farm operates with a philosophy that values healthy people and healthy environments over profit, employing constantly evolving and innovative methods to grow nutritious food with minimal environmental impact. They position themselves as part of an alternative system that provides exceptional food while protecting natural ecosystem processes and properly compensating farm employees. The farm also embraces accessibility, accepting HIP/SNAP at their farm stand and farmer's market and participating in the SNAP CSA program.
