About the Farm

Wake Robin Farm stands as a testament to agricultural continuity in Stratham, New Hampshire, where one family has tended the same land for nearly three centuries. Currently managed by the fourteenth generation of farmers, this family-owned operation represents an unbroken chain of dedication to the land that spans back almost three hundred years. The farm's recent placement in a conservation easement demonstrates their unwavering commitment to preventing future development and ensuring the property remains agricultural in perpetuity.

The farm operates with a deep commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable practices. While not certified organic, Wake Robin Farm employs environmentally sound farming methods that prioritize soil health above all else. They enrich their fields with local composted manure, local leaf mulch, and their own compost, while practicing integrated pest management, crop rotation, and companion planting to naturally reduce pest populations. Any sprays used are OMRI-listed and certified for organic agriculture.

Wake Robin Farm's mission extends beyond simply growing food to maintaining an active, viable, and sustainable operation for generations to come. They believe that healthy soil produces healthy produce, and this philosophy guides every decision they make. The farm offers a diverse array of seasonal vegetables, herbs, flowers, and eggs through their farm stand and CSA program, connecting their community directly to fresh, locally grown food that travels mere hours from field to table.
