About the Farm

Nestled in the hills of the Nashoba Valley, 32 miles west of Boston, Westward Orchards is a fourth-generation, family-owned farm on 275 acres in Harvard, Massachusetts -- one of the state's best apple-producing areas. The farm store, housed in a turn-of-the-century dairy barn, offers a diverse selection of their own grown fruit and vegetables alongside locally sourced items from like-minded producers, including Nashoba Brook Bakery breads, Lilac Hedge Farm grass-fed meats and eggs, Smith Country Cheese, Crescent Ridge ice cream, local honey, and Harvard Maple Syrup.

Westward Orchards grows blueberries, strawberries, peaches, pears, plums, apples, quince, and seasonal vegetables, and offers pick-your-own blueberries in summer, apple picking, and wagon rides to the pumpkin patch in fall. Their apple cider donuts, made fresh daily, have been named among the best in the Nashoba Valley. Now entering its 14th season of a Community Supported Agriculture program, the farm also hosts seasonal Farm-to-Table dinner experiences. Recently named one of the top five pumpkin patches in the Greater Boston area, Westward Orchards is a destination where four generations of quality growing meets warm New England hospitality.
