The Ferjulian Farm legacy began in 1941 when Manouel Ferjulian, an Armenian immigrant living in Cambridge, purchased a 65-acre orchard atop Gospel Hill in Hudson, Massachusetts. Manouel, his wife Marie, and their three children Eunice, Manouel Vincent, and Mae grew the business through selling apples to local stores and clearing woodlands to expand farm-able land. After Manouel's death in 1963, his son Manouel Vincent took over the business, later expanding the farm with his wife Alice by raising turkeys and growing fruits, vegetables and flowers. The first greenhouse was built in 1972, and soon after Eric and Manouel Vincent built the farm stand that still stands today.
Today, Eric and his wife Erin serve as third-generation owners of this 70-acre family farm, with Eric's energy and positive spirit forming the backbone of farm operations while Erin has been the face of the farm stand for over forty years, building countless friendships with customers. Their commitment to high standards in growing, buying, field organization, and equipment upkeep sets Ferjulian's apart, while Erin's attention to keeping everything looking its best reflects their dedication to quality.
The fourth generation continues this proud tradition with Berge focusing on integrating modern technology in irrigation, drainage, and greenhouse growing to bring affordable, quality produce to the community, while his sister Natalie manages the Cut Flower Garden she started in 2019 alongside farm stand operations and marketing. Since 1941, their mission has remained constant: to grow top quality flowers, fruits and vegetables for their community while carrying on as the only working farm in Hudson, Massachusetts.
