About the Farm

In early May 2019, Jason and Bethany Huckins purchased the beautiful Conde residence on Bean Hill Road in Northfield, New Hampshire, acquiring 100 acres to roam and farm. The couple first met in 2009 on a dusty construction site in Vermont and were married two years later on the very farm they now call home. Their journey into maple syrup production began when Jason learned the trade from the late John Conde, working by his side for over 15 years to master the craft of syrup making on this historic property.

The Huckins take immense pride in their premium New Hampshire maple products, dedicating endless hours to ensure every bottle of syrup meets their exacting standards. After starting their own maple operation in Tilton, NH in 2015, they have returned to more traditional methods on their current farm, utilizing a wood-fired evaporator in a sugar house that bears the marks of years of dedication to the craft. They have thoughtfully combined these time-honored techniques with select modern advances to continue producing what they describe as a top shelf product.

Beyond maple syrup production, Huckins Maple Farm has expanded to serve the local community and customers throughout the country with diverse offerings. The farm features a U-Pick blueberry field open from late July through mid-August each year, and they sell horse, cow, goat, and mulch hay by the bale. Jason and Bethany are raising their two children, Liam and Natalie, on the farm, teaching them the beauty and struggles of working closely with the land. Bethany also operates as a photographer specializing in farm documentary, newborn, and family photography, adding another dimension to their agricultural enterprise.
