Meadow Ledge Farm is a family farm on Route 129 in Loudon, New Hampshire, operated by the Roberts family since 1974. For more than fifty years, the farm has been committed to growing quality fruit and offering locally made products in its country store. With over 40 varieties of apples spread across the orchard, the farm is one of the most beloved pick-your-own destinations in central New Hampshire, drawing families each fall to hop on the tractor-pulled wagon for a ride into the trees.
Meadow Ledge Farm is particularly renowned as one of the original orchards in New Hampshire to make apple cider donuts, a tradition that has earned the farm a loyal following. Visitors have been known to stand in line for 45 minutes for a fresh batch, hot out of the fryer. The farm presses its own sweet cider right at the orchard, and the country store is stocked with peaches, pumpkins, mums, cornstalks, fudge, honey, jelly, smoked cheese and bacon, baked goods, fresh pies, local vegetables, maple products, gifts, and much more.
Ernie Roberts and the family continue to keep the farm a welcoming place where the beauty of a New England autumn and the simple pleasure of picking your own apples remain at the center of everything they do.
