Mink Meadow Farm is a certified organic vegetable farm located at the crossing of Etna and Ruddsboro Roads in Etna, New Hampshire, in the Upper Valley. The farm is run by Seth Bent and Sarah Herr, who started their own business in 2020 and received organic certification in 2021. Seth has worked on organic vegetable farms for about seven years, while Sarah has nearly 15 years of experience on organic farms in the area.
The farm sits on land that has been in Seth's family for generations, purchased by his grandparents from the Hayes family. Mink Brook runs through the middle of the property, dividing the livestock pasture and a 150-year-old barn from the growing fields. The brook provides irrigation and a beautiful riparian habitat for native birds. Mink Meadow Farm grows more than 80 varieties of certified organic vegetables and fruits during the growing season, with close to 20 acres of pasture and hay fields and five acres in combined cash and cover crop production.
The self-serve farmstand is open all day, every day from May through October, and also carries local pasture-raised milk from Berway Farm, local eggs, and the farm's own maple syrup, salves, and lotions. Products are also available through the farm's CSA program.
