Out Post Farm has been providing the residents of Holliston and surrounding towns with fresh, home-grown turkeys, produce and more for decades. Originally established as an egg and chicken farm in the 1950's by the Nickerson family, the farm evolved into what it is today, specializing in turkeys and fresh local produce. Charlie Nickerson founded the farm in the 1950s as an egg farm, and over the years he transitioned the operation to provide fresh turkey poultry as he purchased more land in Holliston to grow fresh produce.

In 1996, longtime employee and Texas native Adrian Collins purchased the farm, bringing an extensive farming background as well as a degree from UMass Amherst and the Stockbridge School of Agriculture. In 2009, Holliston native Kevin Drake became a partner with Adrian, and together they have continued the farm's legacy of quality and community service.

Adrian and Kevin's mission is to provide the freshest poultry and produce to their customers while striving to use best farming and environmental practices. The farm is committed to being great stewards of the land and their community, growing produce without the use of synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. In addition to the store located on Prentice Street, Out Post has an additional fifty acres of field and orchard located on Highland Street near the Holliston/Ashland line.
