Pepperell Bees & Honey is a natural, raw honey company in Pepperell, Massachusetts, owned and operated by Andrew Senecal. Andrew first got interested in bees as a child on a trip to Florida and started taking beekeeping classes at the beginning of 2020. When the COVID lockdown became imminent, he decided to dive right in, channeling his energy into something productive as a recovering alcoholic. What began with two packages of bees has grown to over 50 colonies, with a 90 percent survival rate. Andrew raises his own queens and nucleus colonies and produces raw, unfiltered wildflower honey harvested right in Pepperell. His partner Melissa crafts handmade soap, lip balm, and muscle rub from their own honey and beeswax. The business sells locally, online, and through wholesale, with customers ordering from as far away as Florida and California.
